- Thermal Derating and Ventilation: Since it uses a standard heatsink, ensure adequate airflow and cabinet ventilation. If mounted in a sealed NEMA 12 cabinet, a dedicated external heatsink mounting kit is required.
- Input Voltage Verification: Always ensure the input power matches the 380 – 460 V spec before energizing. Supplying incorrect voltage can permanently damage the DC bus capacitors and IGBTs.
- Grounding (Earthing): The chassis must be securely bonded to the system ground. High-frequency PWM switching creates electrical noise; proper shielding and routing of motor leads are required to prevent Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).
