- Capacitor Aging: Because these units are often older, “forming” the capacitors is necessary if the drive has been stored without power for more than a year.
- Cooling: Ensure at least 4 inches (102 mm) of clearance above and below the unit for proper airflow in the NEMA 1 enclosure.
- Voltage Sensitivity: Ensure the input voltage matches the BR (460V) rating. Running on significantly lower or higher voltage will trigger faults or damage internal components.
- Logic Wiring: The L6 option requires 115V AC control signals. Attempting to use 24V DC (common in newer PLCs) on these inputs without a relay or converter will not trigger the drive.
