⚠️ Important Considerations (Notes)

  • Terminal Block: The module does not include the removable terminal block (RTB). You must purchase the 1756-TBCH (high-density, spring-clamp) or 1756-TBS6H (screw-clamp) separately.

  • AC Voltage Only: This module is specifically for switching Alternating Current (AC) loads, typically 120/240 VAC. It cannot be used for DC loads.

  • Derating: Be aware of the current derating. The maximum continuous current per point and per module decreases as the ambient operating temperature rises. Ensure your application stays within the specified limits.

  • Load Type: The module uses triac switching elements, which are best suited for AC loads.

  • Series A: The “/A” denotes the revision level (Series A). Always ensure that the firmware of your ControlLogix controller and the version of your programming software (Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000) are compatible with the module’s series.
