Important Precautions & Installation Notes

⚠️ Warning: High voltage can cause severe electrical shock or injury. Ensure all power is disconnected and the DC-bus voltage has fully discharged before servicing.

  • Voltage Discharge Time: The DC-bus capacitors retain a dangerous electrical charge after input power is removed. Always wait at least 5 minutes and measure the DC-bus voltage with a reliable meter to verify it has dropped to safe levels (<50V DC) before touching any terminals.
  • Proper Grounding: The module must be grounded correctly according to local electrical codes (e.g., NEC, CE) to prevent electromagnetic interference (EMI) and ensure operator safety.
  • Environmental Controls: Install the unit in a clean, dry, IP54-rated (or better) enclosure. Ensure adequate ventilation and maintain the specified clearance distances around the module to prevent overheating.
  • Branch Circuit Protection: Appropriate fuses or circuit breakers must be installed on the AC input line to protect the module against overcurrent conditions.
