⚠️ Important Precautions & Maintenance

🔴 Safety Warning: Do not attempt to disconnect or perform maintenance on the motor while the CNC power or servo amplifier is active to avoid electrical shock or sudden machine drops.

  • Shaft Care during Installation: Never strike the motor shaft with a hammer during pulley or coupling installation. High impacts will shatter or misalign the fragile optical glass scale inside the \alpha64 feedback encoder.
  • Brake Limits: The internal brake is a holding brake only, meant to hold a position when the motor stops. Do not use it dynamically to stop a rotating axis under normal conditions, or it will rapidly wear out.
  • Seal Integrity: Inspect the shaft oil seals regularly, especially if the motor is used in a heavy oil-mist environment. If liquid bypasses the seal, it can damage the internal windings or encoder circuitry.
