⚠️ Important Precautions & Installation Notes
❗️ Dry Running: Never run the pump dry. Ensure the pump housing is completely vented and filled with liquid before starting, as dry running will permanently damage the mechanical shaft seal (HQQE) within seconds.
- Rotation Direction: Verify the correct direction of motor rotation (indicated by an arrow on the fan cover) before putting it into continuous operation.
- Liquid Compatibility: The EPDM (“E”) elastomer in the shaft seal is highly suited for water and glycol but must not be used with oils, petroleum products, or mineral solvents.
- Electrical Protection: Ensure appropriate motor overload protection and grounding are wired correctly according to local electrical codes.
- Alignment and Stress: Do not use the pump as a support for the piping system. Use proper pipe hangers and expansion joints to prevent mechanical stress on the pump flanges.
